General Notions

The Revolutionist tells fresh recruits that a real Rebel must either be a philosopher or a soldier, when HE knows that’s not so.

The development of one’s sense-of-self is like the movement of a State from anarchy to monarchy.  The would-be Ruling Powers first begin to call for calm and quiet; they begin to speak in the name of all the People, and lastly, they adopt the manner and mantle of “sole power.”  Then, the deed is done, all is well.  The People are home.

Many recruits can already say they’ve definitely been “somewhere,” they just can’t say where.

General Notions You Can Generally Count On:

You should generally suspect suspicious people.

You should generally suspect people who suspect other people.

The Revolutionist knows that, if we wait long enough, the present generation TOO, will “get a haircut.”
