“It’s not enough.” 
“I know.”

….and to further clarify: 
“I’ve told you all I can.” 
“It doesn’t SEEM to be enough.”
“I know, I know.”

It is possible that your parents COULD “know best,” unless of course, they’re actually YOUR particular parents.
