Artful Tuesday

Anyone who explains how one City thing causes some other City thing, is certainly an expert in such matters, and is exactly in his proper position.

“If it weren’t for the spatial demands of life, how much pressure would an intelligent man actually feel?” he asked.  And another gentleman replied, “I don’t know – why don’t you ASK one.”

It’s SOME form of art
if it at least makes
the ole men mad
just by its presence.

The City scribe told the visiting class of children, “One neat aspect of being an author is that you can either write about what you know about, OR, write about what other people have already written about.”  As he stood to swoosh them out he added, “And the double neatness is that the first possibility is all but impossible.”

In this one world
an "activist"
is just a lazy thinker.
