spoil at a different rate.
 

One day this one kid said, “Pop, now that I’m older and larger, would you like to know what I think of you?”  And the ole man thought, (but only to himself since he was on a faux, low sarcasm diet), “Jeeze – isn’t THAT what’d make my life complete – hearing what my own blood-sucking, genetic dependent thinks of me!”  (Later while taking a bath, he re-thought the thought and thought, “Hey, why not?”  Then he hummed as he scrubbed.)
