Although a human takes credit for the line, “We stand on the shoulders of giants,” the seminal version came from genes who proclaimed, “We stand on the shoulders.”

One Thursday mid-day this one City’s “Official Guy” announced that, due to growing shortages of “this and that,” hence forth only those could self-destruct who are self-defined.

A little guy rushed up and said,
“May I hasten to add?”
