One Time Offer

Two new plain and simple rules
(for my pertinent constituency):
One:  There is no such thing as a “one time offer”;
Two:  If there is, then all offers are one time offers.

No need to take much of this City stuff personally,
for instance;
no one’s brain boat is sea worthy.

Many’s the people who want to say,
“You haven’t heard the last of me,” and,
sad to say, thus far they’ve proved correct.

If you don’t learn to adopt the tactics of your adversaries,
they’ll be spreading your spleen on toast,
while you’re still waiting for the coffee to perk.

One guy, (apparently believing himself to be
a potential “ole sore head” (whether he was actually
a card holder or not), looked down at someone’s kid and said,
“When I was your age I wasn’t even your age.”
