Do Not Be Concerned

Those prepared to simply, “have their way”
must be prepared to swim in peanut butter.

Those who don’t learn from the past,
may have a chance.

You’re not fully alive and functioning in the City,
unless your “believing apparatus” is made to take
the unnecessary as indispensable.  (This is, in fact,
an engorged insider’s definition of “Civilized”. 
A condition, I might add, that is not optional.)

Working just for Life
can wear-you-out.

Toward the end of the tour,
an assistant to the Minister of Arts
counseled a visiting group of children thusly,
“Don’t be all that concerned if you have no talent,
it hasn’t stopped the rest of them."

By the time Life gets to changing something
it’s probably too late to do you any good.
