Not To Worry...

One correspondent writes to tell us
that from a certain view “the struggle for existence” is a laugh.

One of my drinking buddies – I mean, an associate at the Volunteer Fire Brigade, defined for us all the other evening, “City life” as follows:
“Just having-to-have all the things you don’t have to have.”

More cause “Not To Worry”:
those in power, who don’t want to stay in power, won’t.

A gentleman, apparently heavy into efficiency, says,
“I, am my hobby.”

No-cost advice for the day to the City:
(if you don’t see its value, at least remember its price),
Those who need to cling to their culture
had better Hold On Tight!
