Re Talk: 269
The Few should strive at least to be an adjective, if not a verb, rather than a noun--a stolid old petty fogging noun. Everybody sees their life as it is, but cannot explain or describe it to themselves or anyone else. The old adage of 'Know Thyself' is really an everyday, common reality. Nobody has any misconceptions about their life--just conceptions they don't agree with. The Real Revolutionist realizes his sole duty is to create crisis; whereas the ordinary life is seen to be a continuous series of crises. To create crisis is to transcend, to escape ordinary crisis--your humdrum existence. Seek to become a 'fraud'; there are no mechanical frauds--it takes an extraordinary person to be a sham.TK notes 269
